The Bay Area Coast Guard Ball is being planned for April 19, 2024 We hope to provide a special evening of dining and dancing for the men and women of the Coast Guard in the San Francisco/Bay Area. We need your help to make it happen, and we ask for your assistance. The Navy League’s Pacific Central Region is supporting the committee and doing the fundraising which the Coast Guard, by law, cannot do.
Coast Guard personnel are continuing to work at an increased tempo carrying out their multifaceted responsibilities as a key element of the Department of Homeland Security. We in California benefit greatly from their presence as they protect Americans on the sea, protect America from threats delivered by the sea, and protect the sea itself. I know for a fact that many of these men and women do heroic deeds as part of their everyday job. I have been privileged to present awards to ‘heroes’ who have performed extraordinary feats and performance in the course of their daily duties.
Funds are being raised to supplement Coast Guard Ball dinner costs for junior Enlisted and junior Officer personnel. Please consider making a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) donation, 100% of which will be used to support our ‘Coasties’. (EIN: 94-3018183)
$5,000 donation receives 4 Ball tickets and 4 coins.
$3,000 donation receives 2 Ball tickets and 2 coins.
$2,000 sponsors a table for 10 Coasties (tax deductible)
$2,000 buys a table for 10 ‘civilians’ (no tax deduction)
Contributors of $100 or more will receive a commemorative Ball coin.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. All donors will be recognized in the Ball program.
Your consideration of our request and generous contribution will express the gratitude and admiration you have for the United States Coast Guard whose motto is Semper Paratus…Always Ready.
